Writing the City is a community of new, emerging and established writers who share their work, give and receive feedback and get invaluable opportunities to take their writing forward. We focus on writing inspired by city life.
<br />
<u>Welcoming and inclusive, Mature and playful</u>
+ <u>Hint of sophistication</u>
<br />
A simple and easy to use logotype and visual system were created to deliver a clear message and style. Identity works effectively and effortlessly across all media and formats — Film, Web, eDM and Print.
<br />
Sub-brands, smaller projects born out of Writing the City were also given a associable logotype. 
<br />

We pitched and won.

A complete set of Stationery, University merchandise and buliding signage were designed.

ABOUT THE LOGOTYPE

The black square is strong and sturdy, black is always fashionable; always dependable.

SIT brings exciting opportunities to Singapore, partnering and featuring great international Universities and courses — tilted at an angle of 10 degrees clockwise, the red square injects life and excitement to the sturdy black square.

SINGAPORE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY in uppercase commands authority. Set in a uber-modern and geometric typeface — Avant Garde Gothic BT — logotype is a breath of fresh air amongst the existing logotypes of (local) Universities and Polytechnics. ]]></description>

3 visual routes were designed for the clients to pick from.

All 3 routes adhere to company's tone of voice, style and positioning — <u>Intelligent
Factual</u>

Each route differs slightly in decibels and texture.

Selected route was further developed for stationery, video and web appications.

Brochure aims to represent the extraordinary quality of the resort.
Brochure was resort's main marketing material for their trade show in London.
<br />
Written in both russian and english language not only informs a wider spectrum of audience — it communicates resort's international standard in quality without losing cultural authenticity.
<br />
A calendar of annual russian festivals and events was incorporated into the booklet to increase its keeping value.
<br />
Breathable layout brings about a sense of light open space.
<br />
Information was arranged to be recieved at a idyllic pace — evoking a non-urban lifestyle through a booklet.
<br />
Paper and binding increases booklet's rural flavour. Wooden tray amplifies that flavour.]]></description>
